Height: 6-6 Weight: 292 Hometown: Jacksonville, FL (Bolles HS) Class: 2012
Clemson will be trying to add some depth at OL next year. OL Coach Robbie Caldwell would really like to sign this next player.
John Theus is a big offensive lineman from Bolles High School in Jacksonville, Florida and one of the top players in the state. Also, former Clemson players Jaime Harper and Matt Skinner played for Trinity Christian. According to Elite Scouting: "From the first time he played a varsity football game back at Trinity Christian, there was little doubt that this impressive talent could do things that other big men just could not make happen. He displays nice footwork and can take on the very best pass rushers in Florida." Clemson has already offered this prospect for next year's 2012 class as well as most of the top programs.
