 His first college offer was Clemson. Committed to Clemson on 3/3/2012 on a junior day visit. As a junior, Leggett hauled in 41 passes for 566 yards and four touchdowns. He was recruited by Chad Morris.

Scouting: He looked like a tall and lanky receiver during Dabo Swinney's football camp earlier in 2012. He will be able to stretch the field in Clemson's offense at the tight end position. His game is similar to former Clemson player, Brandon Ford.
