I grew up in a house where my dad was a Gamecock fan.He really likes the Gamecocks but never really forced the issue with me.I remember the day I decided I was a Tiger.I was about four years old riding down the road to my grandparents house who lived in Central.Daddy turned around and asked me if I was a Tiger or a Gamecock.About that time we passed the Clemson stadium and I declared then and there I was A Tiger.He took me to my first Clemson game in 1980 and it happened to be against USC.In 1985 he bought season tickets to Clemson and I was at every home game.So some of you Tiger fans will have to forgive if I don't have as strong an animosity towards USC for that reason.We have always ribbed one another during the last game,but never anything mean.Daddy after hearing stories about Danny Ford after he had left Clemson told me that if Danny would have stayed he would be a Clemson fan now.
