2012: ACC Academic Honor Roll member ... hit .220 with 24 runs, four doubles, one triple, 11 RBIs, a .354 on-base percentage, 28 walks against only 19 strikeouts, five hit-by-pitches, four sacrifice bunts, and seven steals in 54 games (45 starts, including 33 in left field, seven in right field, four at second base, and one as the DH) ... had two outfield assists ... had a .419 on-base percentage when leading off an inning ... was 10-for-27 (.370) with a .500 on-base percentage after the seventh inning ... had a .967 fielding percentage as a second-baseman ... was 8-for-24 (.333) with a .448 on-base percentage in March ... came off the bench and went 1-for-1 with a run and walk against Elon on Mar. 20 ... hit a pinch-hit single at Virginia on Mar. 25 ... went 1-for-2 with a triple and two hit-by-pitches against Presbyterian College on Mar. 28 ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run, and two walks against Western Carolina on Apr. 4 ... with Clemson trailing 2-0, he hit a three-run double in the eighth inning at Duke on Apr. 8 ... went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, and an outfield assist against Furman at Greenville, SC (Fluor Field) on Apr. 10 ... went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs, and two walks at Georgia Tech on Apr. 29 ... went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, and a steal in the first game of a doubleheader against #1 Florida State on May 14 ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk against Coastal Carolina in the Columbia Regional on June 1; he was 3-for-10 with five walks and a team-high .533 on-base percentage in the Columbia Regional.

Before Clemson: Rated as the #218 player in the nation and #15 player in Georgia by Perfect Game ... region player-of-the-year as a senior ... all-region selection as a sophomore, junior, and senior ... played hockey on a traveling team ... lettered four times in baseball at Centennial High, where he was coached by Jake Hill.
