2011: Was 0-for-3 in four games, all off the bench...had six putouts without committing an error...made a diving catch of a foul pop-up while crashing into the backstop to end the game in the first game of a doubleheader against Gardner-Webb on May 7.

Before Clemson: Member of the all-state and all-region teams as a senior at Thomasville High School...all-area by Thomasville Times-Enterprise as a senior...had a .533 on-base percentage, 31 runs, and 33 RBIs as a senior...Georgia Dugout Club selection as a senior...received the team's Captains Award as a senior...lettered four times in baseball at Thomasville High, where he was coached by Erik McDougald.
