(Roswell, GA) was named a preseason third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball on Friday. The switch-hitting second-baseman batted .295 with a team-tying-high 49 runs, 13 doubles, one homer, 31 RBIs, and 10 steals in 59 games in 2012, when he was selected as a Second-Team All-ACC second-baseman. Wilkerson had two hitting streaks of at least 15 games (19, 15) in 2012 as well.

The Tigers will open the 2013 season against William & Mary in a three-game series beginning February 15.
