South Carolina defeats Clemson 8-0 in Columbia, SC. The Tigers fall to 6-4 on the season while the Gamecocks improve to 8-2.

The Gamecocks win the series 2-1 as Nolan Belcher throws a complete-game three hit shutout against the Tigers.

Clemson has not won the overall series against South Carolina in seven years. South Carolina has won 10 of 13 and 20 of the last 28 games in the series since the start of the 2007 season.

Clemson will next play host on Wednesday to Wofford at 4:00 PM.
