Clemson defeats South Carolina at Fluor Field in Greenville, 6-3 to even the series. Clemson improves to 6-3 on the season while the Gamecocks fall to 7-2. The victory is the first ever for head coach Jack Leggett over South Carolina at a neutral field (1-7). The rubber game of the series will be on Sunday in Columbia.
