I've studied and earned degrees at both universities (undergrad at USC, grad at CU). Although I grew up a Clemson fan following my mom, my dad was a USC diehard, so I've always had a soft spot for Carolina too. I love both universities academically, and my view is that its just a game, and healthy rivalry is OK, so I don't think you have to hate one just to be a fan of the other.
