Clemson commitment Sammy Watkins told the Fort Myers News Press that he has asked South Fort Myers athletic director Bill Blakemore to try to prevent any college recruiters besides Clemson from visiting campus.

College recruiters still try to reach Watkins, but they are having a hard time.

"When people call me, I don't answer the phone unless I know who it is," Watkins told the News Press. "A 305 (area code) number called me the other day, but I didn't answer."

Watkins will be playing in the US Army All-American Bowl on Saturday at 1 p.m on NBC.
