Check out this new interview from 5-star linebacker Rahshaun Smith as he talks about his impressions of Clemson from the facilities to the coaching staff.
"I've been to Clemson three times," Smith told SB Nation on Sunday. "The camp, it blew my mind -- the facilities. If you've never been to Clemson and you hear Clemson, you think Clemson, they're good at football. That's what I thought. When I went to campus, it blew my mind away, everything about it. It was definitely a great feeling." Smith was also impressed that Clemson's school president met with him and was from his same hometown. "Going back to the second time I took my Mom and it’s hard to compete when the president of that school comes out and talks to you and your Mom. What a coincidence he’s from the same city I’m from in Baltimore, Maryland. We lived 5-10 minutes away from each other. That’s definitely a good thing." The big-time recruit would not say Clemson was his current leader but they are certainly on his mind. "I don't have a leader, but they're (Clemson) recruiting me the hardest and they've done the best job so far," he said." Smith hopes to pick his college choice before his senior season at IMG Academy.
