Spruce Creek linebacker Jeremy Campbell verbally committed to Clemson over a month ago. Campbell has remained firm in his pledge to Clemson, and he shared why he chose the Tigers.

"The atmosphere in Clemson is just unbelieveable. The atmosphere in Clemson blew away my other visits. Plus at Clemson, they have great academic support. They really care about you, and they want to do everything they can to help you graduate."

In Campbell's senior campaign, he posted 90 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and three sacks. He also had over 400 yards of offense and five touchdowns.

Campbell comes off the edge very well, and he will play outside linebacker for the Tigers. He is very good in coverage. Campbell says he knows what he wants to work on before heading to Clemson.

"Speed! Speed is a big part of the game. I want to get faster and stronger, because the strongest man wins."

Campbell was recruited by Marion Hobby. Campbell says the two have become closer, but he looks forward to spending more time with Coach Hobby.

"Coach Hobby is a father figure. He will be a good father figure for me at Clemson, since my dad won't be there. He is a really nice guy. I look forward to getting to know him on a more personal basis."
