The Clemson coaches hosted several of their top 2018 targets at the All In Cookout Friday night, but one 5-star defensive lineman for the 2019 class says the Tigers made his top six.

Norcross (GA) Greater Atlanta Christian 2019 defensive end Christopher Hinton named Clemson posted on Twitter that the Tigers were in his top group.

“First off I would like to thank God for everything He has done,” Hinton wrote on Twitter. “Being able to go through this process is a blessing. I would like to thank everyone who has had a hand in my development as a young man and a player. Thank you for all the schools who invested their time in me. Last I would like to thank my parents for everything they do. With that being said these are my top 6 schools I will be focusing on.”

Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio State and Stanford also made the cut for Hinton.

Hinton (6-4, 274) received an offer from Clemson in January and visited Clemson for its junior day in March. The teammate of current Clemson commit Kyler McMichael, Hinton is also the son of former NFL all-pro offensive lineman Christopher Hinton.
