Every player has a desire to be the best, but one player is driven by the fact he feels he will never be the best.
Anthony Thomas, Jr. has a very dedicated approach to football. "I can never prove enough, never will everyone agree that I am the best. I will always have something to work on." Thomas' attitude has drawn interest from the likes of Clemson, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Louisville, and Marshall. Louisville and Marshall are the only ones to give an official offer, but he has received a lot of interest from the other three. "I have been to Tennessee a couple of times to meet with their coaches, and will try to camp there." The Kentucky athlete can play defensive back or receiver, but prefers playing defense. "I really have no problem playing anywhere. I prefer to play defense. I love to hit. My high school team just needs me to play more offense right now. In the long run, I would be better served on defense, just because my reactions are better on defense." Thomas' unselfishness and leadership qualities will impress many throughout his Senior campaign. "This is the best team we have had since I have been here. We have improved every year since my freshman season." Thomas hopes with the success of his team this year, he will catch the eyes of many coaches who could be overlooking him. "I really don't think I have had the exposure I will get this year, but it is all about me getting out and working harder."
