Clemson has hit absolute home runs the last two years at running back with the signatures of James Davis and CJ Spiller. It will be difficult for the Tigers to do it a third consecutive year, but the Tigers are a player early with several big time running backs.
Jonathan Dwyer of Marietta, Georgia would certainly fall into that category. Dwyer holds offers from Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, LSU, and Ohio State. Dwyer says he has not trimmed his list at all. "The offers are still coming in, so I am looking at everybody." Dwyer did receive an offer from Auburn, which was the offer he had been waiting. However, Dwyer did not automatically push Auburn to the front. "I am very familiar with Auburn, because my Godfather played there. I was getting worried they were not going to offer. I still don't have a favorite, but Auburn would be one of my top schools." Dwyer will visit Clemson and Florida this summer, along with going to Georgia's Nike camp. "I am going to Clemson and Florida for their camps this summer. It will be a good chance for me to see all the schools and get a good feel for where I want to go."
