Kublanow, a 6-3, 290-pound center prospect who is nicknamed "The Finisher" said he heard the news from his coach.

"My head coach told me about it," Kublanow said. "Apparently the Clemson offensive coordinator {Chad Morris] made the offer."

He also has offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest, with South Carolina and Miami, Fla., showing interest. He visited Miami two weekends ago, and plans to visit Clemson in March.

"I really don't know too much about Clemson," he said. "I know they are in the ACC, and they are pretty good every year. I just really don't know too much."
