WR Michael Hicks has earned offers from Louisville, Northwestern, ECU, Georgia Tech, and Connecticut. Several schools are showing interest, and once the season begins Hicks offers could begin to pile up.
He already has the size at 6' 4", and he has spent this summer working on improving his speed. "I am really trying to increase my speed." Hicks is already a strong route runner who knows what to do when he catches the ball. "I am able to run after the catch well. I know when to go for it, and when to just take what I've got." This summer, Hicks was able to attend camps at Georgia Tech, Florida, and South Florida. "I did well at all the camps. The Georgia Tech camp was well organized. I was able to get more reps against good competition at Georgia Tech." Hicks is not getting caught up in personal expectations this season. "I want to win state. I don't care about personal stats. All that matters to me is wins."
