One of the best players that has been overlooked up to this point this year has been Chattahoochee running back Patrick Paschall. Paschall has posted almost 1000 yards rushing this season. He did so against some of the top programs in the state of Georgia, including Brookview.
"We just put my tapes together and sent them out. I know once the coaches see that my calls will pick up heavily. My coach played for Norm Chow, and placed a call to him to help me out. We are 3-3 on the season, so I am more focused on winning ball games than recruiting right now." Paschall says his tape really shows off his athleticism. "I had some good runs and catches. One catch I went up the air, got flipped and hung on to the ball. I had a 96 yard touchdown run just pulling away from people. Coaches will see that and they know what an athlete is. I will continue to handle myself on the field. I put up big numbers in our toughest games already." The offense at Clemson really fits Paschall style. Although he is being recruited as a defensive back, he thinks he could be a D-1 running back. "I am able to get to the hole quickly, which is what you have to do in the one-back sets they run. Clemson really needs a back that can catch the ball out of the backfield, and I can move out of the backfield well and make catches."
