James McKinney - Defensive Line
Height: 6-4   Weight: 275   Hometown: Louisville, KY (Central HS)   Class: 2005

James McKinney is one of the top remaining prospects Clemson is currently trying to close with. Many believe that McKinney has been a Michigan lean for quite some time, however once again tonight McKinney did not go on record with a leader.

"Michigan, Clemson, Nebraska, and Florida are the fours schools I am going to pick from. No one has an edge right now. I had a good trip to Florida. I will most likely make my decision on Signing Day now. Hopefully, I will be able to do it at the school, but we have homecoming that week."

McKinney says Clemson is the only school that he knows for sure is coming by this week.

"I just got off the phone with Coach West like two minutes ago. The conversation went well. I think they are coming by Wednesday or Thursday. My mom has talked to some coaches, but I am not sure. My mom knows all the stuff about who is coming. I let her handle it."

McKinney would be a great steal for the staff on Signing Day. The in home visit this week will be the key for Clemson's chances.
