James Davis committed to Clemson before leaving on his official visit Sunday morning. Davis said then he would be a firm commitment to Clemson and would sign with the Tigers on Signing Day. Regardless, some schools just have not taken the hint.
"The other schools are still calling me. I am still committed to Clemson. I am not sure if anything could change my mind from that." Coach Burton Burns recruited Davis for the Tigers and is keeping both hands on the wheel until Davis signs his letter of intent. "Coach Burns called me this week to just see how things were going. He also wanted to know who was still calling me. He just likes to know how I am doing mostly." Davis has cancelled this weekends visit with the Florida Gators. Alabama and Virginia Tech will continue to try and get back in with Davis, but all signs point to him staying with the Tigers.
