Quentez Ruffin made an early commitment to Clemson. After committing Clemson, Coach Dabo Swinney made him well aware that his next responsibility was to bring teammate TJ Williams to Clemson. Wednesday night Ruffin completed his second responsibility when TJ Williams committed to Clemson.

"I told Coach I am the best recruiter they got. TJ understood that Clemson is on its way to something special."

Ruffin contrary to some reports has never wavered on his commitment to Clemson. Ruffin is ready to be a Tiger and says next year hosting recruits will be easy.

"Next year, I won't have to work as hard as I did with TJ. Some other schools like to sell facilities to recruits. Once Clemson finishes renovations, they will have the complete package to sell. They were in every game they played this year except Virginia."

Ruffin could be the key to what may be Bowden's best class of offensive lineman. According to Ruffin, you will not have to wait long to see the results on the field.

"The way I am working in the weight room and conditioning right now, I will be ready to play. Unless I get hurt, I am telling you I am coming up there to take someone's spot. Clemson is going to contend for an ACC Championship next year."

Ruffin definitely has the attitude and the work ethic it takes to excel as a freshman. We will continue to give updates on Ruffin until he reports next August.
