North Carolina standout Toney Baker has narrowed his offers down to 5. Baker however mentioned that his top five is not set in stone. "My top is NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, and UNC."
Baker listed some things he liked about each school in his top five. "NC State is winning a lot of games, and they have improved their facilities a lot. Plus, it is kind of close to home. At Virginia, they are winning and consistently going to bowl games. Virginia Tech has a good history at running back. Tennessee is a big time program that has great coaching staff, and have produced some good running backs. I like the coaching staff at UNC. They have a lot of athletes, and are really close to producing." Baker really likes Coach Bunting and a coaching change could factor into his decision. "A coaching change at UNC could sway my decision, but it also may not." Baker has also received offers from Clemson, LSU, and Texas. Baker was one of the country's most productive running backs last season. He rushed for 3,411 yards and 41 TDS. We will follow Baker's senior campaign all the way through the Shrine Bowl.
