JC Neal has been warming up to the idea of staying in state to play college ball. However, Neal hinted that he still may be leaning towards going out of state.

"NC State is my leader right now. I like everything about them. That is my number one choice. I love the players and the coaches, the feeling you get when you go out on the field. I have only been to Clemson once, and I kind of liked it. I told Coach Swinney that I would come up there for an official visit and see if maybe that would change my mind. South Carolina is going to throw the ball to everybody next year not just one player, and not run so many quarterback draws."

Neal has been making the most of his selection to the Shrine Bowl this week. It all started with the trip to the hospital on Sunday.

"I had the chance to play some video games with a bunch of kids and sign a lot of autographs. It is going good right now with practice. We have not done a lot of hitting, but it is going good. I act crazy when I get on the field. I don’t know what I am going to do."

One of the most attractive features Neal presents is his speed.

"I ran a 4.35 forty and a 10.6 100 meter. Hopefully, I will run track in college as well. My main sport will be football, but track will just be a bonus to help me."
