He had 20+ offers from all over the country including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina and others.

Crowder is one of the top OL recruits that Clemson has gotten in the last few years. He is a road-grader that loves to finish off his blocks at the OG position. Crowder was very impressive at the Shrine Bowl practices.

Clemson has been recruiting him since the 9th grade. He said during the TV coverage that "Clemson stayed with him through out the whole recruiting process without putting too much pressure on him."

As as junior, he had 89 knockdown blocks. He has visited Clemson several times on different unofficial visits.

He is originally from Greer, SC. He has a cousin and aunt that still lives there. He is a cousin of Clemson LB, Stephone Anthony.
