Clemson had offered Winston before they got a commitment from NY QB Chad Kelly.

One of the top Dual threat QB's in the country. Grew up an Oklahoma sooner fan. He plays in a spread offense for his high school. Class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. Has accepted invitation to play in the Under Armour All-American Game. He is also an excellent baseball player with pro potential as a 1st round draft pick in baseball.
