5-star 2018 quarterback Trevor Lawrence from Cartersville, Georgia (Cartersville HS) took a trip to Clemson on Saturday. spoke with the highly recruited signal-caller on Saturday night, and he had the following positive things to say about TigerTown.

"Good visit," Lawrence said. "A lot of stuff academic wise, saw all the facilities again and had some good talks with the coaches."

He was very impressed with Clemson's coaching staff. "Coach Streeter and really just the whole staff, they are awesome."

Lawrence is rated the #1 2018 player overall by and as a sophomore, he completed 233 out of 364 passes for 3655 yards with 43 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

As a freshman, he passed for 3,042 yards with 26 touchdowns to lead Cartersville to the AAAA semifinals. As an 8th grader, he had 1173 passing yards with 18 passing touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns.

He has early offers from Alabama, California, Cincinnati, Clemson, Colorado State, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Houston, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Southern Miss, Tennessee, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and others. His first offer was from Colorado State.
