Elite 2018 inside linebacker Teradja Mitchell from Virginia Beach, VA will visit Clemson on Friday according to his Twitter account.
"I want to see the campus, and talk to the coaches and see what their mentality is in regards to the game," Michell told TigerNet. "I also want to take a look at their defensive schemes and then just see what the whole school is like." Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Brent Venbales is Mitchell's recruiter of record. "We've really just started talking," Mitchell said. "He's been by my school a few times. It's kind of a new relationship, but we are starting to bond." As a freshman, his team finished the season with a 7-4 record. Some of the accolades after the season for him included All-Coastal Conference linebacker, Max Prep All-American, Bayside defensive MVP, and he was ranked among the Top 70 freshman in the country. He has national offers Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Navy, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. The talented freshman grew up a big fan of the LSU Tigers. An interesting side note is that he is the seventh child out of 11 in his family. He hopes to graduate early once he finishes his senior year of high school as he has recently transferred to Bishop Sullivan High School. I will be visiting Clemson tomorrow #ALLIN ???? ??
