Clemson is recruiting several "jumbo-athletes" this year. Brent Slusher falls in that category as he can play tight end or linebacker. Slusher visited Clemson earlier this year.
"My visit to Clemson went well. They have a very good program, and I expect they are on the verge of some very big things. They have an outstanding coaching staff, and a beautiful campus." Slusher made a trip down to Auburn shortly after he made his visit to Clemson. "Auburn and Clemson have similar campuses. Auburn has been very productive on the field for a long time. Coach (Tommy) Tuberville is really building something special there. I was very impressed by Auburn, and I was glad I made the trip down." Slusher is awaiting his first offer. He is receiving interest from Clemson, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, and LSU. Billy Napier is the recruiter of record for Clemson.
