of Raleigh, N.C., who is heavily considering UGA, defended the Bulldogs’ coach after the loss on Twitter: “People need to stop hating on Coach Richt !!!” The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Marshall is scheduled to take an official visit to UGA on Saturday’s for the South Carolina game. He has also scheduled recruiting trips to Notre Dame and Florida, with two more to be named.
If Mark Richt wanted somebody to take his side after Georgia’s loss to Boise State, one of his preferences would surely be the nation’s No. 1-ranked running back.
