, a three star wide receiver out of South Carolina. Irick decided to commit after visiting both Virginia Tech and Kentucky unofficially in the last few weeks. Those were his loan scholarship offers so far and with no interest in staying in-state, Irick decided to jump aboard while the Hokies still have room for him. Obviously, Irick is another kid who has flown a little below the radar thus far but much like some of Tech’s previous receivers, the kid has plenty of ability.
As a sophomore, he had 34 catches for 688 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2009. He attended Clemson's junior day in March. #40 rated player and 4 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.
