Barry Humphries will visit Clemson the last weekend in January. Humphries was the first prospect to commit getting the ball rolling for this year's class.

"I set my visit for January 28, because I figured it would less crowded that weekend. I pretty much know my way around Clemson already, so I will know everything about the campus then. It just worked out as a bonus that Thomas (Austin) is coming in the same weekend."

Humphries and Austin have became very close friends since their time together at the Shrine Bowl. So is Humphries excited about coming?

"Oh yes sir! I can't wait. Track will start in about a month, then after that I will just begin lifting getting ready for Clemson."

Last season, Humphries was the AAA State Champion in the discus throw. Clemson is getting a proven leader and winner when Humphries arrives. Humphries will try for his third state championship ring in the discus throw this spring (1-Discus Throw, 1-Football).
