Ryan Houston - Running Back
Height: 6-2   Weight: 235   Hometown: Matthews, NC (Butler HS)   Class: 2007
ESPN: NR

Ryan Houston made his first trip to Clemson over the weekend. While nursing a hamstring injury, he watched several top prospects perform at the Clemson Nike Camp.

"I am going to the Shrine Bowl combine, so I wanted to try and get healthy by then. If I rush it, it will continue to nag me. The biggest thing is for me to get healthy, and then show the coaches what I can really do.

Though, he did not participate, Houston did see several prospects in Clemson that were very impressive.

"There were a lot of good athletes there. Willy Korn is very impressive. I had heard a lot about him, but he is going to be really good. Greg Little is very hard to describe. He is going to be unstoppable."

Houston says he enjoyed his time in Clemson, and he will return for Clemson's camp this summer.

"The coaches wanted me to come back for their camp. It should not be a problem for me to get back down here then. I think they will talk to me more then."

With recent rumors about Houston's weight, some schools have been whispering defensive end.

"If a school wants me as a defensive end, I hope they tell, because I am not interested. I am a running back."
