After the bowl game, many of die hard Clemson fans started thinking about January 13th. The weekend of January 13th is the big recruiting weekend for Clemson this season. One player who Clemson would love to land that weekend is Terry Grant.

Grant is a running back from Lumberton, Mississippi. He has been offered by Clemson, Florida State, Alabama, Memphis, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss. Grant says his recruiting was set back by Hurricane Katrina.

"After the hurricane, some schools could not get in touch with me. Clemson was a school that I had interest in that lost touch. Coach Koenning was able to get back with me, and we set up an official visit for January 13."

What other official visits does Grant have set up?

"I visited Alabama on December 9 and Southern Miss on December 16. Both visits went well. I am also going to Florida State (1/20) and Memphis (1/27)."

Does Grant have a favorite?

"I am not favoring anyone right now. I will make a decision after I take my official visits. It may go to Signing Day, but I will probably know before the end of January."
