Georgia's Peach County High won 11 of 13 games this season, and
senior Larry Cox was a big reason why. The defensive end tallied 67 tackles, seven sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, and forced two fumbles. Cox's talents haven't gone unnoticed. Among the schools that are recruiting him and have made offers are Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Maryland, Mississippi, Michigan, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Illinois. Although Cox says that he isn't leaning toward any school, Clemson could have the inside track. The Tigers' Chansi Stuckey, a red-shirt sophomore wide out, is Cox's cousin. "It's a pretty good school," Cox said. "And the fact that I have a relative there could factor into my decision." Cox plans to visit the University of Georgia the weekend of January 7, and Clemson the following weekend. Cox is being recruited by tight ends coach Jack Hines.
