"Hopper is another prospect we have seen on the camp circuit, but we like that this Clemson commit still comes out and competes. This leaner receiver prospect posted a good 40 time and in one-on-ones displayed the speed and smoothness we saw on film. He has good hands and comes across as a natural pass catcher and displayed that in one-on-ones and 7-on-7 drills. He is quick and able to get open and after the catch can be tough to corral as he can be elusive and make defenders miss in a short-area of space. Hopper can make plays as a receiver though the more we watch him we are not sure he couldn't help a team equally if not more as a corner on defense. Hopper, whether on film or in person, proves he is a good prospect and nice grab for the Tigers."
Hopper had 1,359 rushing yards with 18 touchdowns on the ground as a junior, and added 39 receptions for 465 yards and five touchdowns while earning all-Mecklenburg first team and all-state honors. Class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit.
