Guesley Dervil is a standout defensive back in the state of Florida. He currently lists his top five as Georgia, NC State, Florida, FSU, and MIami. After a discussion with his brother, he may be ready to end his recruitment early.
"I talked with my brother (Guerlin Dervil), who plays at NC State, and he was telling me that I need to get it out of the way and focus on my season and schoolwork. If I was to commit now, it would to either NC State or Florida." Dervil is very active player in the secondary. He showcased his skills in a jamboree against maybe the nation's top running back Maurice Wells. "I had 15 tackles, and we only played one quarter. I was ballin that night. We shut Maurice Wells down. That is what do though, we shut the best running backs down." Dervil is a difference maker in the secondary. We will follow his situation closely to see if a decision comes in the next few days.
