From the Spartanburg Herald:

DeStefano said it's an honor to be recognized but is not worried about publicity when it comes to game night(ESPN game VS Gaffney on Aug. 26).

Paragon Marketing Group partner Rashid Ghazi, whose company is helping to present the game, said several factors went into choosing DeStefano and the opening game as part of its schedule.

playing is a plus for us. I'm sure the production team will focus on Patrick and see where he is at as one of the many story lines during the game. The win for us is we get a great game with top recruits in a phenomenal environment.”
