Mike Davis - Running Back
Height: 5-10   Weight: 205   Hometown: Columbia, SC (Columbia HS)   Class: 2005

Mike Davis has been one of quietest players we have interviewed all year. He has remained non-commital on his leaders. It appears though after spending a week around several Clemson commitments that Davis may finally be tipping his hat.

"I had a great week with those guys. I am still going to take my official visits. Sadat (Chambers) and some others did a good job this week with me. I think a lot of Clemson right now."

Davis rushed for a six yard touchdown run that sealed the game for the South Carolina squad on Saturday.

"We practiced hard all week. The coaches had a great gameplan for us, and we came and out and executed today. My offensive line deserves all the credit. Those guys were the MVP today."

It appears now that Davis will be a battle between Clemson, Alabama, and South Carolina. Auburn is likely to fill up, but could potentially get in the race with Davis.
