As the years have gone by, Friday Night Lights has attracted more and more top prospects. And while there were some questions about how a new coaching staff would embrace and continue the tradition, all signs are pointing to this year's event being the biggest yet.

As a junior, Watkins had 50 tackles, 29 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. In 10 games on offense he caught 11 passes for 237 yards while rushing for 270 yards on 65 carries. As a sophomore, he started at offensive tackle. Averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds while playing center for his high school.
He is a class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. #9 rated player and 5 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.
