The 6-foot, 170-pound Tabor has scholarship offers from South Carolina, North Carolina State, Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Maryland. Understandably, there's no leader nor list of finalists for the sophomore.
"It's still early," he said. "Everybody is just talking to me."
Tennessee was the first to offer. The verbal invite came during a visit to Knoxville last summer.
"It was big," Tabor said of the offer. "It was in the SEC. When I went down there it was just amazing -- the atmosphere, the stadium. They were the first to offer so I'll always show them love."
Tabor seems to have an affinity for the Vols -- if they can continue to rebuild. Tabor said he'd continue to be interested in Tennessee as long as the same coaching staff is there when he signs in February, 2014.
As for other schools, Tabor said he rooted for Miami growing up, but the recent allegations of widespread NCAA violations has him concerned.
"I wanted to go to Miami but they're in all that trouble right now, but that might clear up by the time I'm there," he said. "That would definetely be an option."
Tabor was shown on ESPN during the game sporting Clemson eye-black on his face.
