ESPN: NR

Larry Cox fits the profile of the big athletic body, who could play several positions, that so many big programs covet. He is being recruited to play outside linebacker, defensive end, and defensive tackle. He has received offers from Clemson, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, Kansas St, and Auburn.

"I am gonna wait before I make up my mind. My top three right now is Maryland, Florida, and Clemson. They all have good athletic and academic programs."

Cox says the others are not out of consideration completely, but ultimatly he will look at each school's academic programs, playing time, and where he feels at home.

This summer Cox attended the Auburn and Nike camps.

"Both camps went well. I actually received my offer from Auburn at their camp. This summer I did a lot of agility work, and tried to add a few more pounds."

Cox is good leader on the field, but coaches love his footwork and quickness off the ball.

"The Auburn coaches told me they loved everything, especially my quickness and footwork. I maintain my cool on the field. I don't panic when it is big down or tough situation."
