According to Corey Long of ESPN:
"The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back stifled every competitor he faced in Sunday's Nike NFTC camp at Florida State University. And when the dust settled, he picked up the defensive backs MVP trophy." "I've been to Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Louisville and USF," Blanks said. "I really don't have a leader right now, I'm analyzing and researching several different programs. I'm going to try to look at everything and find the programs I feel comfortable at. That's the first step because you can't play your best if you aren't comfortable. And after that I'm looking for a fair opportunity to contribute to the team." He finished his junior season with 104 tackles and four interceptions. Offensively, he had 35 receptions for 356 yards and eight touchdowns.
