The Tigers were the first to offer McKinney and his main recruiters of record are Mike Reed and Tony Elliot. Alabama called and offered him later on Sunday afternoon.

McKinney was very impressive during the 2015 Dabo Swinney Football camp showing off his size with good overall coverage skills.

4-star 2017 defensive back LeAnthony Williams is on the unofficial visit at Clemson with McKinney. Both players are high school teammates of latest Clemson linebacker commit Tre Lemar.

Williams already has offers from Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee Vanderbilt and several others.

Roswell high school is stacked with talent as both of their starting defensive backs have offers from Clemson.
