from Clifton Park, NY on Tuesday according to multiple reports.

Huerter has a nice shooting touch with a great all-around skill-set including playing tough defense. He should be able to defend multiple positions because he is still growing.

He has current offers from Albany, Baylor, Clemson, Creighton, Davidson, Duquesne, Florida State, George Washington, Iowa, Marquette, Maryland, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rice, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Xavier and others. Syracuse, Virginia and Michigan State also have heavy interest.

He helped lead his high school team to the 2015 NYSPHSAA Class AA championship and was named 2nd team All-NYS.

The talented playmaker does not turn 17 until the end of August so he may attend prep school so that he will be able to reclassify into the 2017 class. His AAU team is City Rocks 17u.

His father Tom Huerter played for Siena for the 1989 team that upset Stanford in the NCAA tournament.
