TigerNet spoke with Fontaine in late July, and he said that had a "fun visit" while on an unofficial trip to Clemson. "I only saw the football facilities, but it was a wonderful experience. I also liked seeing the hill the team runs down," Fontaine said.

The highly-regarded prospect already has early offers Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Penn State and Virginia. He was named an Adidas Freshman All-American last season.

Fontaine's NIKE SPARQ stats at a recent event included a 5.28 40-yard dash, 4.75 timed-shuttle, 22.1-inch vertical jump and a 30' power ball throw.
