Clemson has offered 4-star 2017 defensive back Stanford Samuels III from Pembroke Pines, FL according to his twitter account.

Samuels has offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Clemson, Duke, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Louisville, LSU, Marshall, UMass, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Rutgers, South Carolina, TCU, Temple, Tennessee, Toledo, UCF, UCLA, West Virginia and others.

He has the third-most impressive offer list by a 2017 recruit according to rankbyoffers.com.

His top five schools are Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina.

He has good size and technique for the cornerback position as he patterns his game after NFL elite players Patrick Peterson and Richard Sherman. He also plays some quarterback for his high school.

His father Stanford Samuels II played defensive back for Florida State from 1999-2003.
