Clemson moves into Top 5 of recruiting ranking by offers |

The Clemson football 2016 recruiting class is on its way to being finished as signing day is only two weeks away.
The Tigers moved up to #5 in the latest recruiting ranking by offers list with 16 commits, 21,316.36 offer points and an average score of 1,332.27.
The rankings are based on each commit and the amount of FBS offers they receive instead of a recruiting analyst's opinion or regional bias.
The Clemson commits and their current college offers: LB Rahshaun Smith (36 offers), LB Tre Lamar (35 offers), DE Xavier Kelly (32 offers), DT Dexter Lawrence (29 offers), WR T.J. Chase (27 offers), OG Tremayne Anchrum (26 offers), WR Cornell Powell (14 offers), WR Diondre Overton (14 offers), OT Chandler Reeves (14 offers), QB Zerrick Cooper (13 offers), RB Tavien Feaster (12 offers), TE J.C. Chalk (12 offers), DT Nyles Pinckney (11 offers), OL Sean Pollard (11 offers), LB Jamie Skalski (8 offers) and DB Brian Dawkins Jr. (1 offer).
The only other schools ahead of Clemson are Florida (#1), LSU (#2), Michigan (#3) and Notre Dame (#4).
Clemson's in-state rival South Carolina was ranked #27 overall.
In the 2017 recruiting rankings by offers list, Clemson is #7 overall with 4 commits - QB Hunter Johnson (22 offers), OT Noah DeHond (19 offers), QB Chase Brice (16 offers) and S Baylon Spector (4 offers).
