4-star 2017 running back
D'Andre Swift from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (St. Joseph's Prep) has Clemson in his top group on Wednesday night according to his twitter account.
His top five schools were Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, and Penn State. Swift is a consensus high 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services and regarded by some as the #1 all-purpose back in the nation. He plays for a spread offense and plays in the slot which would be a great fit in Clemson's high-octane offense. His Clemson recruiter of record is Tony Elliott. He has early offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Delaware, Florida State, Georgia, Iowa, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, Villanova, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. In 2014, he had 115 rushes for 825 yards and ten touchdowns and also had 439 yards receiving and five more scores. He has been invited for the second straight season to 'The Opening' camp in Beaverton, Oregon and reportedly plans to visit Clemson, Florida State, and Ohio State in the near future.
