Clemson baseball commit Michael Chavis was named Georgia's Gatorade Player of the Year on Tuesday.

Chavis finished the season hitting .573 with 13 home runs, 39 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He is projected by many to be drafted in the 1st round of the upcoming MLB draft.
