Clemson defensive back coach Mike Reed did an in-home visit with 3-star safety K'Von Wallace from Highland Springs, Virginia on Wednesday.
Wallace committed to Cincinnati last July but has had several new offers in the last week including Ohio State and Michigan State. His offer list includes Arizona, Cincinnati, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Maryland, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Texas State and Virginia Tech. The Clemson coaching staff offered the DB/WR as a defensive back and Wallace will be leaving for his official visit to Clemson later today. As a senior, he had 718 yards receiving, 376 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns to help lead his team to a 5A state title and was named first-team all-state as a wide receiver and a defensive back. He even played some wildcat quarterback and returned kicks this past season for Highland Springs. Some of his physical measurables (non-verified) include a 4.10 shuttle, 38.2-inch vertical jump, 245-pound bench press, 325-pound squat and an 11.1 100 meters.
